Sax Player – Stage 3

Sax Player Stage 3

Close to the finish line.

As of now I have pretty¬† much completed the flames and face on the right. I used pthalo blue for the shadows. I lengthened the musician’s hair to be a little more consistent with my style which is more playful and expressive, less realistic. I noticed a face shape on the right and decided to make it an integral part of the painting. I still have a little work to do, including beginning the sax, which I’ve left for last. Mainly because painting metal is more difficult for me than painting the other elements shown here. So we’ll see how I do soon. Thanks for watching.
